Producer Story:

For much of his working life, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Jaberi had been an employee of Yemen’s General Elections Authority. This was until the Yemeni Civil War began in 2014, forcing Mohammed to leave his role. By 2015, Mohammed had decided to return to his village of Al-Mahjar in the district of Al-Hayma, to continue his family history of coffee farming. Using techniques handed down through generations and now with seven years of experience, Mohammed is one of the top farmers in the region, producing this year’s highest scoring auction lot from the Al Hayma region.
